India’s Culinary Odyssey
A Celebration of Heritage, Flavor & Heart
Powered by Pushpa’s Kitchen, India’s Culinary Odyssey was an extraordinary gastronomic celebration that brought together ten of the country’s most visionary chefs and storytellers of flavor for a night that redefined India’s place on the global culinary map.
Held under the enchanting canopy of 60-year-old mango trees at Hanu Reddy Raghava Farms, the evening unfolded around a stunning 156-foot-long table — a symbol of resilience and transformation, crafted from wood salvaged after Cyclone Vardah. This one-of-a-kind setting played host to a truly unforgettable dining experience.

Curated by India’s top culinary expert, Chef Regi Mathew, the evening featured a 10-course plated tasting menu, each dish an ode to India’s rich and diverse food culture. Chef Regi also took center stage in the kitchen, joining nine of the country’s finest culinary talents:
Hussain Shahzad, Varun Totlani, Vicky Ratnani, Vanshika Bhatia, Arouni Mookerjee, Avinash Martins, Harish Rao, Mythrayie Iyer, and Vinesh Johny — each brought their distinctive regional inspiration, creativity, and mastery to the table.

A total of 104 guests were invited to this intimate yet grand affair, where every moment was thoughtfully choreographed for an elevated experience. The service was brought to life by an enthusiastic team of 120 students from the SRM Institute of Hotel and Catering Management, who were trained by Mirelle Ping Fu of Masque, Mumbai. With impeccable precision and grace, they served each course in perfect synchrony, adding rhythm and elegance to the evening.

India’s Culinary Odyssey was more than a meal — it was a mission. The event aimed to spotlight India’s culinary excellence on a global stage, not for its affordability, but for the brilliance, artistry, and depth of its cuisine. It honored not only the chefs who elevate our food culture every day, but also the mothers of India, the original custodians of our culinary traditions.
From heirloom flavors to imaginative reinterpretations, the evening was a symphony of taste, story, and soul — a true tribute to the rich and ever-evolving spirit of Indian cuisine.
